Holidays are among the most eagerly awaited moments of the year—an opportunity to break from routine, relax, discover new destinations and spend quality time with friends and family.

But how are Italians’ travel habits evolving? Which destinations are most sought after, which planning styles are preferred, and which types of holiday attract the greatest interest?

To answer these questions we ran a study analysing Italians’ relationship with travel, highlighting the main emerging trends and changes versus the past (2023).
